Jacqui and Tom's wedding ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Hampton Court House, Richmond. Hampton Court House is situated in the beautiful Bushy Park, which has acres of gorgeous gardens, grassland, waterways and lots of roaming deer! Jacqui was keen on a blush colour palette with the injection of purple and white tones. She wanted the flowers to be natural and typical of what could be found in Spring.
There were lots of beautiful flowers available and we selected gorgeous cappuccino ranunculus, dusky quicksand roses, copper bronze cafe latte roses, blush anemones, mauve hellebores, chequerboard fritillaries and heavenly lemon scented wax flower. Jacqui's bridal bouquet was arranged in a loose and natural style and tied with silk ribbon.
Jacqui and Tom had two large flower arrangements for their ceremony backdrop. These large urn arrangements were arranged in beautiful vintage vases and sat on top of stylish pedestals. These vases were originally used for flower arranging in the 1950s and we love that they have so much history and are still being used today. We have lots of unique vases and vessels in our inventory and love to use them for weddings, as they add such a special touch.
For the wedding reception, each table had a low table centrepiece. We used metal urn compotes which allowed the flowers to cascade around. Other bridal flowers included rustic buttonholes tied with twine and filled with majolika roses, nigella seed pods, rosemary, wax flower, hebe, astrantia and viburnum berries. Jacqui's bridal party carried bridesmaid bouquets which were smaller versions of Jacqui's bouquet, allowing the flower theme to flow throughout.
Here's a snippet of what Jacqui and Tom had to say:
"Petal HQ are truly fantastic at what they do! We met Laura for a coffee to chat through options for wedding flowers; she shared designs, gave great advice and we knew straight away that they would deliver something special for our big day. The buttonholes, bouquets, table centrepieces and general floral styling on the day was simply stunning and we got many comments from our guests. Petal HQ really are talented florists and we couldn't recommend them highly enough!"
