When it comes to choosing your wedding flowers it can sometimes feel like a minefield but rest assured at Petal HQ we are here to advise you on the finest flowers and foliage available for your special day. Every bride deserves a breath-taking bouquet and romantic bridal flowers are our speciality. Every stem is hand chosen by us for it's individual colour, texture and scent.
We are passionate about sourcing the most beautiful and unique flowers for your wedding. Whenever the seasons allow, we source our flowers from a local grower, knowing our flowers haven't flown thousand of miles and have been grown using environmentally friendly fertilizers, is a cause really close to our heart.
In Spring the cutting garden comes alive with dancing tulips, ruffly ranunculus, exotic frittilaries, fragrant narcissi, enchanting anemones, delicate aquilegia, starry hellebores and heavenly scented blossom.
Easy into early Summer the garden erupts with colour and comes into full bloom with delicious sweet peas, sunny geum, vibrant zinneas, star shaped nicotiana, pillowy scabiousa, twirling cosmos and an abundance of dahlias in all shapes and sizes.
Flowing into Autumn the cutting garden is still bursting with flowers and foliage is starting to turn into shades of blush, rust and lime. Our arrangements are full of texture from grasses, seed pods and berries.
As Winter rolls in, our thoughts turn to the festive season to rich, velvety jewel tones, sparkle, fragrant spices, citrus, berries and candlelight, But this time of year can be a time of lightness with scented herbs, paperwhite narcissi, amaryllis, anemones, ranunculus and chrysanthemums.
Taking note of your chosen colour palette we will detail what flowers and foliage are in season for your wedding day and share images via pinterest to help with all the long winded flower names. We regular post updates on instagram with flowers that we are working with giving regular updates on what's available. Or why not come and join us in the cutting garden? Wandering through the flowers will surely get you excited for things to come.
