Iona and Saxon got married on a gloriously sunny day in July at The Caledonian Club, London. The brief was for natural, romantic and whimsical wedding flowers with a hint of Scottish to reflect their roots. Colour palette wise Iona wished for soft pastel colours including lilacs, peaches, creams and light blues.
We choose blousy and gorgeously scented Margaret Merril garden roses as our main flower and teemed them with dancing cosmos, mallow, penstemon, sweet rocket, orlaya grandiflora, phlox, sweet peas, geranium leaves and mint. Small star shaped eryngiums, which look like thistles, gave a nod to the Scottish connection. Iona's bridal bouquet was loosely arranged and wrapped in flowing hand dyed silk ribbon which moved beautifully as she and Saxon sashayed through bubble confetti.
